Dear Carsyn,
On this day 4 years ago you were born. It was a painful and long labor, but I was so thankful I was able to have a VBAC. Life has not been the same since you entered this world. It may not be how I pictured our life, but I wouldn’t change a thing. You are such a sweet and happy boy. Most of the time you go with the flow, as long as you aren’t hungry. If you are hungry you definitely let us know. You love to eat.
Your favorite things right now are your iPad, Bubble Guppies, and listening to music at our church. We can not take you to your class without letting you listen to the music or you will freak out. You still love all kinds of different foods. I feel like you eat all day long. You went to school some this past year. I still can’t figure out if you liked it or not. Some days you would cry when we pulled up to school, but then you seemed fine afterwards.
This coming year is going to be a great year. We have gotten all kinds of new equipment for you lately. Thanks to the generosity of friends and family. New wheelchair and gait trainer. Along with the GoTo Seat & Upsee Harness. I think you will really enjoy all the mobility and freedom these things will bring you. You definitely want to be involved in everything your brother does, which is just awesome.
You bring so much joy to everyone around you. Carsyn, you are such a special boy and I am so thankful that God chose me to be your mom. I love you!
