I wanted to give everyone an update on Carsyn. He had his speech/feeding evaluation yesterday. She actually thought that he is ahead in those areas compared to his gross motor skills. That is great to hear. We are going to be doing some exercises with his Occupational Therapist, but for right now he does not need speech/feeding therapy. I felt very relieved that he was doing so well. I am hoping he will continue to improve and that he will not need the extra therapy. They are going to give him a bit longer to start saying mama, baba, dada, etc. It would be nice if he could start taking the cup a little bit better, but I am fine with him nursing some and taking a cup some. He has already improved a lot.
We still haven’t heard anything about his equipment but hopefully soon. I am going to apply for SSI on Wednesday. It would be nice to get that extra help. So if you can pray for us on Wednesday I would appreciate it. Thanks! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
