Cookie Dough Frosting

Jump to Recipe

Funny story. I was making cupcakes to take photos of my new cupcake stand from World Market for my post tomorrow and accidentally made the brownie box and had already started cooking them in my cupcake liners before I realized my mistake. I turned to pinterest and found this recipe for Cookie Dough Frosting. Let me say I am sooooo glad for my mistake. This icing is divine! Kenny isn’t a fan of cupcakes but loves brownies and cookies so I think I found a new birthday tradition for him. He loved these.

I just used the pillsbury fudge box brownies. They are my favorite. I have tried homemade but haven’t  found a recipe I liked. She did share a recipe for those on her blog though, if you want to make your own.

Carsyn’s first day of school a few days late. Th Carsyn’s first day of school a few days late. The teachers say he seems happy to be back. This would technically be his 8th grade but we will probably hold him back a few years in middle school before we move him up to high school. Of course they are “virtual” tomorrow and possibly Friday because of the hurricane/tropical storm. Then Labor Day on Monday. So he probably won’t be back again until Tuesday.
