Refresh Your Home for Fall with World Market

Filed Under: Home, Photography Tagged With: Fall, pollinate media, sponsored, world market

I was giving an awesome opportunity to go shopping at World Market. I had never been before and the closest one to my house was an hour away. I could not wait to check it out and see what they had to offer. I shared some photos of my world market shopping experience on instagram.
We went through a tunnel to get there, coffee for shoppers, adorable spice rack, love those dishes, would like one of everything, the loot I bought.

I decided to decorate my dining room. We had repainted it a little while ago but I never bought anything to decorate the room.

I bought this glass vase and the filler then added my own pinecones. I am looking forward to changing the filler out each season and using this vase over and over.

I bought this dish rack to keep my yellow plates on the bar in the dining room. I love these yellow plates and hate just keeping them in the cabinet. This is a great solution!

I of course had to get these owl candle holders! Love! I also bought some nice place mats, cloth napkins and napkin rings.

I made some brownie cupcakes with cookie dough icing. Then put them on my new cupcake stand and put this on the bar in the dining room too. Matches the dish rack and pulls it all together.

Something extra I bought was a teal tea kettle (because I have never had a tea kettle before). I am in love with this!

Also there is something in this for you!! Enter to win a $10,000 shopping spree! I could do some serious damage with that!!

There is a World Market dangerously close to me and I could spend WAAAYYYY too much money in there, if I had it! Cute choices you've made. :-)

He he! This one was about an hour from me so thankfully can't go there too often or I would spend way too much!

Love your choices. That vase is awesome, the plate & cupcake stands are so cute. I just bought those same yellow plates (just a couple) when I was out "prop hunting" a few weekends ago. I should have bought the whole set.

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.

Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.

So it was growing soooooo slow. I finally repotted it a couple weeks ago, moved it closer to a window, and started using plant food from @happyhappyhouseplant. Not sure what made the most difference but the leaf opened and now a new one is already starting. Hoping it won’t take as long this time.
