Without the Rain…

Filed Under: Pregnancy Tagged With: bumpdate, rainbow baby

announcement

Kenny and I are pregnant with our rainbow baby. We couldn’t be more scared, thrilled, nervous, and excited! He/she is due towards the beginning of November. I am 8 weeks along right now. We lost our baby last April around 8 weeks after several weeks of going back and forth on whether everything was okay. Our last pregnancy was different, I always had a feeling that something wasn’t quite right. This pregnancy so far has been going amazing well. We can not wait to welcome this baby into our lives this fall.

8 Week Bumpdate:

How Far Along: 8 weeks

Weight Gain: 2 pounds

Sleep: getting up several times to go to the bathroom.

Gender: don’t know yet.

Feeling: nauseous all day long.

Movement: haven’t felt anything.

Belly:  pudgy. not in maternity clothes for the most part.

Next Appointment: 2 weeks

I go back to the doctor in 2 weeks for blood work, and all that fun stuff. I really do not like having my blood drawn. I do ask for your prayers that everything continues to go with this pregnancy. Also, that I am able to relax and enjoy this pregnancy, and to not worry all the time.

I'm SO happy for you!! I hope you start feeling less nauseous soon. I know it was pretty awful for me. I changed my diet to high-protein (like at least 30g a day) and that helped me a LOT. I ate Greek yogurt, bananas with peanut butter, hard boiled eggs... Praying for this sweet new baby!! Hope he/she and you continue to do well.

Congrats again! I had terrible morning sickness with both of my pregnancies. I hope you get to feeling better. At least you'll have a great "technology" photo for this weeks challenge! ;)

A big congrats on your rainbow baby! I miscarried back in November and have been suffering with anxiety and panic attacks ever since. We are hoping to start trying again soon and this post brought a tear to my eye and gave me a little bit of hope! I wish you a healthy, happy preganancy!

First off, congratulations! Babies are exciting ... and scary. Soberingly scary after a loss. We lost our 3rd and the 4th pregnancy was the scariest time of my life. I am surprised I didn't turn gray from stress. However, that loss made every milestone that much more magical. Thinking of you.

It’s been loose for awhile, but when she bit a lollipop at school today it became super loose and started bleeding. Then she was crying.
