Weekly Wishes #25

Filed Under: Uncategorized Tagged With: Weekly Wishes

Well it looks like we will not be moving any time soon. The family that had a contract on our house decided to back out. We decided that we would just going to take it off the market for now. Maybe wait another year and hope the market continues to pick up.

In other news we started our Summer Bucket List last night.

Last Week’s Wishes

  1. Workout 3 times this week.
  2. Donate unused items to the thrift store.
  3. Donate Carsyn’s old equipment to the CDSA.

No working out. Ugh. It was a stressful week and I could have used the burn, but it just didn’t happen. I think I will have to start going in the mornings before Kenny leaves for work, because it is really hard to get out of the house with both boys. Yes I did donate some unused items to the thrift store. It was about half of a van full of items. I also was able to donate Carsyn’s old equipment to CDSA. They will find good families that need the items. So this week was mostly a success besides working out. Oh and Carsyn starts Physical Therapy again this Wednesday. It was something on my weekly wishes a couple weeks ago.

 This Week’s Wishes

  1. Workout 3 times this week.
  2. Start planning a beach trip. Dustyn has been wanting to go.
  3. Continue going through our stuff. I really want to simplify our house and life.

I am currently get rid of my clutter as well. It can be a pretty great feeling, huh? Whenever I take account of my things I'm always a bit put off by how much stuff I have. But then clearing it out always makes me feel like I'm clearing out the negativity in my life and making room for new opportunities. I hope you have a lovely week Sarah. Good luck with all of your goals!!!

I'm sorry the potential buyers backed out! That must be frustrating! Glad you were able to donate some items. We are doing that this week. Plus I'd like to sell off some of my Stampin' Up stamp sets that I no longer use. Gotta get through them and price them. One thing I have discovered with exercising is starting is the hardest part. Getting started is half the battle. Have a great week!

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.

Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.

She recommended this wooden trellis from Lowe’s that cost less than $15. I tied up the droopy leaves with twine. There is lots of room left for growth.
I made the mistake of not repotting my philodendro I made the mistake of not repotting my philodendron white wizard when I first got it, I also didn’t give it enough sunlight. So it was growing soooooo slow. I finally repotted it a couple weeks ago, moved it closer to a window, and started using plant food from @happyhappyhouseplant. Not sure what made the most difference but the leaf opened and now a new one is already starting. Hoping it won’t take as long this time.
