Taco Bar Party Ideas

Since today is Cinco de Mayo we decided to do a Taco Bar Party last night with some friends of ours. We had such a wonderful time and I really enjoyed setting up everything. Plus clean up was a breeze because of these Wet-Nap Antibacterial Hand Wipes.

Taco Bar

Here is the taco bar with everything set up. I got the food table tents and banner from A-Manda Creation.

For the toppings I had Mexican rice, black beans, shredded lettuce, guacamole, salsa, shredded cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, spicy ranch and queso. For meat you could pick from shredded chicken, ground beef and fish. My favorite was fish. Yumm!

Once we got done eating Kimberly and I wiped up some spills and put away all the leftover food. I have to say I really love the smell of the Wet-Nap hand wipes. It isn’t too over powering but it smells clean.

The queso was really dried up, but the Wet-Nap wipes had no problem cleaning it off the table.

After dinner my friend Kimberly brought cookies, icing and sprinkles for the kids to decorate. They had been outside playing with frogs before they came in to decorate. Therefore I was grateful to have the Wet-Nap hand wipes since they kill 99.9% of bacteria. I don’t think he always does a thorough job when washing his hands. Having said that I wiped down his hands before he started touching his cookie.

Dustyn had to put a little of each of the sprinkles on his cookie. While decorating and eating Dustyn made quite a mess, like usual. I handed him a Wet-Nap, and he was able to clean his face and hands. Plus he cleaned the icing off the table afterwards. Win-win!

Unfortunately Carsyn missed out on the cookies. He was really tired and already in bed, but Kimberly left him a cookie for tomorrow.

I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

Freaking freezing soccer nights. 🥶🥶🥶 It Freaking freezing soccer nights. 🥶🥶🥶

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.

Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.
