Our steam mop broke about a month or so ago and we have been researching new ones to see what would work best for us. I had heard a lot of good things about the Swiffer Bissell SteamBoost. So I was really excited when they contacted me and asked me to review it.
It is so easy to attach the steam pads and would be perfect to use this holiday season while preparing for friends and family to come over. The Steam Pads really do a deep clean to remove dirt and films left behind by other mops. Then when the holidays are over and every one returns home you can go over the floors quickly again. The Swiffer Bissell SteamBoost is very lightweight and has a really long cord. You won’t be spending all of your time unplugging and replugging it in. It heats up in 30 seconds and turns on the blue light when it is ready.
Swiffer Bissell SteamBoost Facts
It’s convenient with no squeegee or mop head to squeeze and no bucket of water to fill.
This steam mop works by combining powerful steam with a dirt-dissolving cleaner, in special trap-and-lock refill pads.
The steam’s heat warms the cleaner, which breaks down dirt, and then the pad traps and locks the dirt away.
Deeply penetrates and helps remove soils that mops can leave behind on most hard floor surfaces.
SteamBoost™ is safe to use on marble, stone, ceramic tile, vinyl, linoleum, finished wood and laminate flooring.
I did love the ease of use, but I didn’t see much steam coming from it. I like to see a lot of steam, but it did a great job cleaning my floors. As you can see it picked up quite a bit of dirt just from my dining room. You can find cleaning tips from Swiffer on their site.
The starter kit is $49.99. The 20 refill pack is $9.99.
For a limited time you can get a $15 Mail-In Rebate if you buy the SteamBoost starter kit before December 31, 2013. Would make a great last minute Christmas gift!
