  • 2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 Tbs. Sugar mixed with 1 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In large bowl combine butter & sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Add Eggs, beat. Mix well.
  2. Stir in baking powder, salt, and flour. Mix until dough stiffens.
  3. Chill dough 30 minutes.
  4. Roll into walnut sized balls. Roll it around in the cinnamon sugar. Then place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Also sprinkle with a little extra sugar/cinnamon mixture before baking to get a little extra color on top.

I love snickerdoodle cookies! I remember going over to my grandmother's house and she would make these for my cousin and I. We would watch a show on the Food Network and eat snickerdoodles. Fun times!

I really like snickerdoodles too. My recipe is very different from yours. Many people roll sugar cookies in cinnamon and call them snickerdoodles, but where I grew up those were just cinnamon cookies. Snickerdoodles Mix: 1 c. soft shortening 1 ½ c. sugar 2 eggs Add: 2 ¾ c. flour 2 tsp cream of tartar 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt Chill dough 2 hours Roll into balls then roll in mixture of 2 Tbsp sugar and 2 Tbsp cinnamon Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 min @ 350

It was a nice secluded spot that we might just make our new spot. The kids had a blast, I am glad it stays shallow here plus we didn’t have to worry about waves.

The eyebrow dye last for about 4-6 weeks. It gradually lightens up over time. I included the photo of Annie after she did her “makeup”. This project 365 isn’t looking like I thought it would. I was hoping to use my DSLR more but end up just using my phone and using random photos I take during the day. Nothing specific or set up pretty, but it works. I’m still capturing memories.

Got a little hot at one point and the water was too cold for me to get in but just kept dipping my feet in the water to cool down. Unfortunately I got a terrible headache in the afternoon so had to cut the trip a little short. Next time I need to remember to bring medicine. Not sure what’s been going on lately but the last few days I have gotten headaches in the afternoon.
