Scavenger Hunt Sunday | Host {07.08.12}

Filed Under: Photography Tagged With: scavenger hunt sunday

Hello friends! Welcome!! Thanks for coming over again this week. Ashley is busy with her sweet little girl.

Patriotic

I thought this firework was very Patriotic. I loved that I captured a red, white and blue firework. You can see the rest of my fireworks photos here. This is the prompt for Paper Heart Camera so head over there to link up your photo too!

View from Above

Took this view from above photo of Carsyn while we were playing with the bubbles. The sun was in his eyes. Made it look like he was mad, but he was having fun!

Mosaic

I made a mosaic using all of the fireworks photos I took. I used this site, Easy Moza, it was pretty easy. It is free to download a web-sized version of the photo.

Something Tiny

The moon looks so tiny in this photo. I captured this after the fireworks and after everyone cleared out. Hopefully next year I will get photos of the fireworks reflecting on the water.

Vibrant

I love the vibrant colors I captured from the sunset in this photo.

So, what were your interpretations of the items this week? Be sure to load your pictures on your blog (or your Flickr photostream) and link up at the bottom of this post. Feel free to grab a button to display on your blog along with your scavenger hunt items. The linky will be open until Tuesday night at midnight (EST). If you didn’t participate this week, but want to participate next week, here are your items, sponsored by Paper Heart Camera & Beth @ Snaps Of Our Life
  1. Water
  2. Petal
  3. Fresh
  4. Eight
  5. Calm

Can’t wait to see all your photos. I will try and visit you all through today and the next few days!

I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.

Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.
