Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Filed Under: Photography Tagged With: scavenger hunt sunday

I used to participate in Scavenger Hunt Sunday with Ashley Sisk all the time. Then I got busy and stopped joining in. I have decided I want to get back to taking photos for myself and stretching my creative skills.

Looking Up

DSC_5671 copy

Our dog Dudley looking up at me. I love the details of the snow/water on his face and whiskers. He did enjoy playing in the snow, though he would rather be inside.

Light

DSC_5578 copy

The little light peaking through the leaves were just gorgeous. I could not pass up capturing this photo.

Favorite Mobile Device

DSC_5469 copy

The favorite mobile device in our family is definitely Carsyn’s iPad. It is something he can play with independently and it keeps he very entertained.

Outside

DSC_5536 copy

We have been having a very snowy winter compared to normal. Therefore I have been spending a lot more time outside making sure I capture some photos.

Inside

DSC_6075 copy

Super D and Super T-Bear to the rescue. Dustyn has had to use his imagination a lot more the past few weeks. We have been playing inside a great deal more then usually.

Hope you enjoyed my photos! I am planning to take new photos each week and really stretch my photography. If you want to join click the button below to be taken to Ashley’s blog.

So glad you joined back in the Scavenger Hunt. It's one of my favorite memes because it does give me a real challenge to the photography skills. I love the shot of light and outside. Of course, they are all great!

What great photos, I like them all. I should do this, I got a dslr in October and a 50mm 1.4 lens for Christmas and I have yet to get out there and snap, I have a lot to learn just to figure out how to work the darn thing.

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

Freaking freezing soccer nights. 🥶🥶🥶 It Freaking freezing soccer nights. 🥶🥶🥶

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.
