Scavenger Hunt Sunday {09.18.11}

Filed Under: Photography Tagged With: scavenger hunt sunday

My parents have the boys, so last night Kenny and I went out for Mexican food. Yummy! After dinner we went out and he let me practice night photography. Let me just tell you, I have a lot to learn. It was misty and cold so I didn’t spend much time practicing, but it was fun. When we were done there we went shopping without the boys and I got a new bedding set. Then when we got home we cleaned our bedroom from top to bottom and got all of the boys stuff out of it. It looks so nice.

Street Photography

We started here taking photos of cars going by but it felt too crowded with all the cars in the parking lot so I moved thinking I wouldn’t like this one, but it was actually one of my favorites.

From a Distance

Looking down an almost empty street.

Photography love...

Sunday

This was an awesome moment that happened last Sunday. Dustyn got his first camera. It was sooo adorable. He was being very creative with it too. Photos from his camera coming soon.

Liquid

There are two liquids here. The water of course and that bokeh is mist on my lens.

Behind

Earlier in the day we started the process of cleaning up the mess from Irene since we finally got rid of the chickens.

By the way we will be gone all day. I hope to visit everyone later. Have a wonderful Sunday.

    Very cool! I, too, practiced with night photography about a week ago. (Post coming tomorrow.) It's kind of fun, isn't it? One of my favorite parts about it is capturing cars as they drive by, their headlights and taillights making a line.

Still on my to-do list: a gallery wall and living wall, but I'm a bit nervous since I'm not exactly good at that. One day, though... I also dream of getting a projector to display scenes on the big white wall.

I'm going to miss my Halloween decorations when they come down - time to start scouring thrift stores for Christmas decor, I suppose! 🎄

What I have left to do still: Get the top for my desk and seal it. Organize my craft stuff and put it on the shelves under my desk. Figure out my gallery wall above my desk. Order my @wallygrowplanters for my living wall. And of course buy more books and plants. 😆
