Scavenger Hunt Sunday | 02.12.12

Filed Under: Family, Photography Tagged With: scavenger hunt sunday

First of all I want to say a very happy birthday to the best husband and father of my children!! Happy 29th Birthday Kenny! I love you so much and you mean the world to me. Thank you for everything you do for our family.

Facial Feature

One of my favorite facial features, Carsyn’s eyes.  They light up when he smiles. Love them! Sneak peak of his 21 month photo shoot. I can’t believe in 3 months he will be 2. Crazy!

Shadow

Several shadows in this photo. I made heart shaped cupcakes for play group. They turned out so cute. I didn’t even use a special pan or cupcake liner. I just filled the aluminum cupcake liners half full. Then shaped into a heart and pinched the bottom part together. Then baked. Very easy and adorable!

Spicy

This was taken with my iPhone seriously minutes ago. I totally forgot about this one.  I edited it using the water color effect we learned in Tutorial Tuesday.

Gold

A few golden leaves still holding on.

Fabric

We got a little bit of snow last night when we were over our friends house. The kids were so excited to put their coats on and play outside. They had fun but didn’t stay out there long. Love this snow bokeh picture. Most of the snow was already melting as we were heading home. When we got home, it looked like we didn’t even get any.

Linking up with Scavenger Hunt Sunday, Simple Things, Sunday Snapshot, Macro Monday, and then she snapped

Still on my to-do list: a gallery wall and living wall, but I'm a bit nervous since I'm not exactly good at that. One day, though... I also dream of getting a projector to display scenes on the big white wall.

I'm going to miss my Halloween decorations when they come down - time to start scouring thrift stores for Christmas decor, I suppose! 🎄

It will be a few more months/weeks before it’s complete but I’m proud of how far it’s come.

What I have left to do still: Get the top for my desk and seal it. Organize my craft stuff and put it on the shelves under my desk. Figure out my gallery wall above my desk. Order my @wallygrowplanters for my living wall. And of course buy more books and plants. 😆

Thanks so much to my cousin @r_holz9 for all her decorating advice and @em.e.hicks for putting up with my million text messages. IKEA bookcases will be here tomorrow. Then need to paint them and start moving my books out there. After I finish with that, I will work on my living plant wall. Not sure when my low bookcases and desk will be built, but it will happen eventually. Almost there. 🙌🏼
