Poetic Winter Photography Challenge: Warmth

One kind word can warm three winter months.  ~Japanese Proverb

Another photo of Dustyn to go along with the ones I shared yesterday. I love his warm little smile and gorgeous blue eyes.

Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire:  it is the time for home.  ~Edith Sitwell

We have a ton of this algae growing. Sign of the warmth?

Also linking up with: Give Me Your Best Shot, PhotoStory Friday, Fabulous Friday, Favorite Photo Friday, Photo Friday, Shoot.Edit.Submit., Oh Snap!, and Look Whooooo’s Snapping.

I wanted to let you all know that in just a week we raised 84% for us to go to the Families for HoPE Conference. I am in awe and so very thankful. If you want to see the banners I have done in exchange for donations go here.

By the way, Kenny is turning 29 on Sunday. Do you all have any ideas of what I should do for him? I am always at a loss for what to do. He will buy whatever he wants, so I would like to do something meaningful and special.

I love the algae one. It just feels warm. For my husband's 30th, I wrote 30 things I loved about him on post-its and hid them around the house. For mine, he bought me the book 1000 Places to See Before You Die and tag places he wanted to take me. On each tag he wrote a little about why and what we would do when we were there. One of my favorite gifts to date. Happy Birthday to him!

I can certainly feel the warmth through these photos. And a child's smile always warms my heart. And perfect quotes- I really struggled with that. Thanks so much for joining our challenge!

July was an amazing month for the most part. Kenny July was an amazing month for the most part. Kenny and I celebrated being married 18 years in the mountains, and the kids had a lot of Summer fun. Unfortunately we did lose Kenny’s step dad, the kids Grampy, Billy. I’m so glad I decided to do project 365 again this year. I really do love looking back on all the photos, even if most are taken with my phone. Just want to take more photos of the kids with family members.
