Scavenger Hunt Sunday {01.29.2012}

Filed Under: Family, Photography

Smile

I love this boys sweet smile. He can light up a room with it. Every one that sees his smile can’t help but smile.

Stand Alone

I actually got Dustyn to stand alone and let me take his photo.

Rusty

Some rusty things. Not sure what they are. Anyone have any ideas?

Artificial

Artificial lighting. Only thing I could think of.

Repeating Pattern

The vents in my van. That counts as repeating pattern right? I have been having some focus issues with my D7000. Anyone else having problems on their camera. I am not sure what is going on. Got any suggestions for me?

    Awesome set! Love that smile!! Sorry I can't help you with the focus issues. What's happening? Do you use back button focusing? I have a D5000 but so far haven't had focusing problems, well other than operator error, lol.

    Love the first two! Such handsome boys! What lens are you using for the photos that aren't focusing? I started having some issues with my 50mm with focus. Hear it's pretty common on the 1.8 because of its light weight build.

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

Freaking freezing soccer nights. 🥶🥶🥶 It Freaking freezing soccer nights. 🥶🥶🥶

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.
