Outside Fun With My Boys

Edited to add this wonderful collage from Alicia over at Project Alicia. Go over there and download it and make one yourself. It is so fun.

We made icecream after seeing Summer’s Boys of Summer post about making Ice Cream. I thought it would be fun and it was. Next time I am doing it while Carsyn naps though. As you can see in this photo he wasn’t very happy. It made it hard to get photos.

It was pretty good but I think I should have shook it longer. I had two very impatient boys. ha ha.

Dustyn riding around his four wheeler and Daddy chasing him with the wheelie king.

Carsyn swinging.

Sunflare on his toesies.

“Alright mom, that is enough pictures. Get back to swinging me!”

It was so beautiful outside. Only 77 and a nice breeze.

Blogging from Bolivia

My new favorite photo of Dustyn. As I was taking the above shot he came up and got in my frame. Love it. He looks like a giant. ha ha.

Live Every Moment Favorite Fridays at Skinned Knees

This is what happens when you play outside all day. He falls asleep in the oddest positions.

One last one for Crazy Days of Summer: Critters

Alright, alright. One more, don’t shoot me. These things freak me out.

By the way, I made a photo challenge page, if you have a photo challenge you want me to add let me know.

Don’t forget to enter the THREE Giveaways I have going on right now. Hurry. They will be ending soon.

Oh, love these! I don't know how I missed them! (Found thank to your ice cream reference.) We made a couple of batches this summer as well. But used cream and an electric mixer. I LOVE homemade ice cream. I don’t know if you’ve seen this, but they make “soccer balls” that you can put ice cream mix and ice in and kick around until it’s frozen. I always thought it would be fun to try with kids.

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.
