Many thanks to Smith & Noble for sponsoring today’s post  and encouraging me to update to #safeandstylish window treatments!
Nursery Safety Tips

We are so excited that baby Prestyn will be joining our family soon! We have been working on his nursery a lot lately and making sure it is safe for him as he grows. I wanted to share five nursery safety tips that we have done or plan to in the near future.

Nursery Safety Tips

1. Cover all power outlets.
2. Check your crib and make sure it meets all current government safety guidelines.
3. Secure all furniture to the wall to prevent tip overs.
4. Buy a tight fitting crib sheet and do not use any blankets or bumpers in the crib.
5. Replace your corded window treatments with cordless window treatments.

That last one is so important. The cords of blinds can be super dangerous to your children and pets. They can easily get tangled up in the cords. Smith & Noble recommends replacing your hazardous window treatments or retro-fitting your blinds. You can learn more about child safety on the website.

Corded-Blinds
Special offer – You can replace unsafe treatments with new ones and save $50 per window treatment. Go to their website and sign up to receive the code.

Here are a couple of videos from Smith & Noble about child safety.
