Minnie Mouse Baby Shower by Disney Baby

Throwing parties is one of my favorite pastimes. I usually go all out for my boys birthday parties each year. I have so much fun picking colors and decorations. I wanted to do things a little differently for this Minnie Mouse Baby Shower. I wanted to use Disney Baby items for the decorations and game so that they would be useful long after the baby shower ends.

Minnie Mouse Baby Shower

Most everything you see in this photo is made by Disney Baby. They have a huge selection of baby and toddler items available at Walmart. I love the look of the whole Minnie Mouse line, but I also loved the Finding Nemo baby items that Disney Baby had available.

Decorations

Minnie-Mouse-Backdrop

For the backdrop I used pink, white, and black streamers. I cut them in 4 foot sections and hung them on the wall using clear tape. For the clothesline, I took clothespins and decorated them with pink and black washi tape. Then hung up the Disney Baby Minnie Mouse bibs.

I used pink and white straws and napkins along with pink, white, and black gumballs. Disney Baby even offers toddler plates, cups and utensils.

Minnie Mouse Motorcycle Diaper Cake

Diaper-Cake

For this diaper cake take I followed these instructions. She took awesome photos of the process and gave really great directions. I used the Disney Baby Minnie Mouse bibs, receiving blankets, Minnie Mouse from a blanket/minnie set, Minnie Mouse sippy cup, and Minnie Mouse socks. It was pretty simple. You will also need diapers, ribbon, large rubber bands, and safety pins.

Minnie Mouse Cupcakes

Cupcakes (2)

I wanted to go simple on this baby shower so I used box cupcake mix, icing, and then little pink chocolate candies. Simple and the perfect addition.

What’s In The Diaper Bag Game:

Diaper-Bag-Game-1

A fun game to play at any baby shower is what’s in the diaper bag. I used the adorable Minnie Mouse Disney Baby diaper bag for this game. Basically you fill the bag with your items before the shower. Then pass out the sheet below to all your party guests and give them two minutes to guess what is in the bag. The person with the most correct items will win the prize. Super simple.

What’s in the diaper bag:

  1. Hygiene Kit (brush, comb, nose sucker, medicine dropper, nail clippers, and nail files.)
  2. Socks
  3. Bibs
  4. Receiving Blankets
  5. Diapers
  6. Wipes
  7. Blanket
  8. Cup
  9. Hat
  10. Minnie Mouse Lovey

All of these Disney Baby items are available throughout the baby section at Walmart.

I’ve shown you my Disney Baby party plan. How would you throw a baby shower using these items?

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.

Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.
