Memories: Dustyn and I

I was taking some product photos for Hot Mama Gowns and had out the tripod. Well Dustyn came over and said he wanted to take some photos. So I let him use the remote and take some photos of himself. Then he asked me to join. I said okay. Dustyn starts telling me the faces he wants us to make. What did I get from this quick 5 Minute fun photo shoot? Memories and some great ones.

I have really been struggling lately to parent him. Seems like all I have been doing is getting mad at him. It was really nice to have fun with him and always remember this sweet time.

In other news about Dustyn. He was accepted into our local Pre-K program at school. I am kind of nervous. It is 7:30 to 2:15, 5 days a week. This is going to be a big adjustment for him and I. It will be nice to have that time to focus on Carsyn, but it is going to be weird not having him home.

I really hope the school will be able to start some Occupational and Feeding therapy. I have had the hunch that he has some sensory processing issues for awhile, but they have really come to light the past couple weeks. I am anxious to get him evaluated for SPD. I guess I was focused on Carsyn and his special needs that I was hoping Dustyn was just being a boy. In the back of my mind I HOPE nothing is wrong with him and he is just being a boy and trying to get attention.  So please pray for me as we go through the process of figuring out what is going on with Dustyn. Thank you all for your continued support through this all.

Come back tomorrow for a ebook & actions giveaway from Rebecca Cooper at Simple As That.

I LOVE these Sarah!!! Beautiful, fun, and very natural shots that show the love you have for one another! I hope things get easier for you and the transition to the new preschool goes smoothly. It always amazes me how quickly kids adjust.... much faster than us adults:) Have a wonderful weekend. xo, Lisa

What beautiful fun shots! My best to you and the family, parenting can be a nerve wracking job but as I can see you have found that the little moments of joy outweigh the struggle. Then eventually you get rewarded with the biggest gift, grandchildren. :D Have a great weekend.

It was good chatting about all of this with you and if you have any other speechie related questions I would love to help. Hope you can find a great provider and get him in for some evaluations to ease your mind.

Watch out! Looks like you are going to have some stiff competition in the business :) I feel for you about the parenting woes. I feel very much the same what about my daughter. At her last doctors appointment we were told that her hearing was falling flat in both ears and was below normal range. We have to go in and re-evaluate, if they are flat again we need to see a specialist. Then this week we were told by our daycare that they want to bring in a speech therapist after summer holidays to have her evaluated. We thought she was doing so well too :( Add that to my son and his anoxic reflex seziures and lots of contractions this past week or so, we have lots going on with the kids! If you ever need someone to chat too, send me an email. Even if its just a 'you know what, today really sucked' kind of email. Hugs.

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

Freaking freezing soccer nights. 🥶🥶🥶 It Freaking freezing soccer nights. 🥶🥶🥶

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.
