Memories, Dreams and Reflections | 2010

Filed Under: Family, Photography Tagged With: memories dreams and reflections

Welcome to Memories, Dreams & Reflections. The wonderful Ashley Sisk came up with this great list to help you remember the greatest moments from 2010. I had so much fun looking back at all of my photos. Some of these you have seen before and a couple of them are new.  I still can not believe that 2010 is over already. Seems like it just started and I was anxiously awaiting the birth of my baby boy Carsyn. I remember worrying all the time how I was going to handle 2 kids. In all honesty it has not been that bad. I am looking forward to what 2011 will bring. I can’t wait to get to know all of you better.

Me!
1-Me_2010

My first Self-Portrait with tripod & remote. The thing I am most proud of is having a VBAC with Carsyn

I Love You
2-Love_2010

My high school sweetheart. We have been dating 9 years and married for 6 years. He is my best friend and my biggest fan. Love you baby!

Still Laughing…
3-StillLaughin_2010

He had so much fun finger body painting. He really doesn’t like to get messy, but he sure did love coloring himself.

Winter Wonderland
4-WinterWonderland_2010

A picture from the Blizzard of 2010. We had about 7-8 inches of snow dropped onto us the day after Christmas.

Birthday
5-Birthday_2010

“Opening presents is so tiring” Dustyn was exhausted during his 2nd Birthday. He didn’t have a nap and you could tell by the way he was acting.

Friends
6-Friends_2010

The boys with their play group friends at their Halloween Party.

I Was Inspired…
7-Inspired_2010

This photo inspires me because the red leaves are different then the green. Shows me that you don’t have to fit in all the time. I love it.

Spring Fever
8-Spring_2010

Beautiful  flowers taken in the Duke Gardens. I can not wait till Spring.

Vacation
9-Travel_2010

This photo was taken on our trip the the State Fair back in October when we went on our mini-vacation.

Summer Days
10-Summer_2010

We spent a lot of time during the Summer at the RC track while Kenny raced.

A Day In My Life
11-DayInMyLife_2010

They take a bath together almost every night. It is so sweet.

All Smiles
12-Smile_2010

One of my favorite smile photos of Carsyn. May not be the most perfect photo, but I love it.

Autumn Harvest
13-Autumn_2010

I love acorns that fall during Autumn. I really had a lot of fun taking photos during Autumn, I had a hard time picking one photo. Figured this one best described harvest, since the squirrels harvest acorns.

Family
14-Family_2010

My family. I love my boys.

Celebrate!
15-Celebrate_2010

This was the happiest moment from 2010. I was so happy to have my baby here and healthy. Having a VBAC is an amazing feeling.

Let’s Do It Again…
16-DoAgain_2010

I can’t wait to get together with Ashley again. We had so much fun. It was really great meeting her. She is just as sweet in person as she is online.

I Miss You
17-MissYou_2010

I miss his teeny, tiny toes. Really adorable! I love his fluffy butt.

Beautiful
18-Beautiful_2010

I just love everything about this photo. His eyes are beautiful and I love the bright orange sun bokeh in the back. This photo is just overall beautiful to me.

Dress Up
19-Dress UP_2010

The boys dressed up for Halloween.

Macro
20-Macro_2010

One of my favorite Macros. I don’t have a macro lens {It is on my wish list} but I just love that you can see all his hairs.

Holidays
21-Holidays_2010

I love this photo of Dustyn. He was so excited to get his Cozy Coupe. This was right when he woke up and saw it.

My Favorite
22-Favorite_2010

This is one of my favorite leaf photos. I love the bokeh, sun flare and the processing I did to it.

Don’t Ever Change
23-Change_2010

I never want his eyes to change. They are gorgeous. He is so sweet. I really don’t want either of my boys to grow up.

Just Because…So There!
24-JustBecause_2010

I just love his eyes and the bokeh in this photo. One of my all time favorite photos of him.

Hopes and Dreams
25-HopesandDreams_2010

I thought this photo was perfect for the theme. I really hope and dream that I continue to improve my photography. I really love all the blog friends I have met online and in real life, and I can’t wait to meet more.

Make sure you head on over to Ashley’s blog and join in with the hottest end of the year linky.

I love so many of them that I don't know which ones to mention. I can say the bath photo is so sweet and lovely. I just have such great memories of bath time with my sister, so it is fun to see siblings having fun in the water. Actually, Bennett and my nephew Braxton took baths together while we were home over Christmas and they had a blast. I look forward to journeying along with you this year. It has already been a blast the few interactions we have had.

Still on my to-do list: a gallery wall and living wall, but I'm a bit nervous since I'm not exactly good at that. One day, though... I also dream of getting a projector to display scenes on the big white wall.

I'm going to miss my Halloween decorations when they come down - time to start scouring thrift stores for Christmas decor, I suppose! 🎄
