Medifast Week #5 | The Road To A Healthy Life

Filed Under: Health Tagged With: medifast, sponsored, weekly weigh-in, weight loss

The road to a healthy life is paved by letting go of the past. I was doing really good until Superbowl Sunday. I told myself I was going to be good. I tried so hard, but I couldn’t resist all the delicious food (though I felt like crap after eating it). I ate way more then I needed to. Thankfully I had already lost 2 lbs last week and didn’t gain it back. I was very disappointed in myself, but I decided I would let it go and not let it affect me. I am back on track now and hope to lose the 3lbs left to meet my 2nd goal! Massage here I come!!

To me, the road to healthy is one of movement - although I am not overweight and I do work out almost every day, I am way too sedentary most of the rest of the time - I need to get my butt out of the chair more often!

I like your featured quote. I was disappointed in myself when I stopped working out after the first two weeks of January. I also like your idea of having specific rewards for weight loss achievements. I'm going to brainstorm and create a rewards list, thanks for sharing this motivating post! Enjoy your future massage!

Wow! Congrats on your weigh loss! I have every intention of getting back on track when the New Year started, but life gets in the way, and it hasn't happened. Reading your post gave me fresh inspiration! Thank you for sharing your journey here. God bless you. :)

I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.

Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.
