Mac and Cheese Popcorn is the perfect snack to make on movie night. It is easy, delicious, and the kids will love it. I think almost every kid I know loves Mac & Cheese and Popcorn. Plus, if you have seen the movie you know cheese is a big part of it.

I found that tip online and thought I would make a little video. Pretty simple and something I hadn’t thought of before. It worked perfectly. That way I didn’t have to worry about the boys choking on the kernels. Of course a few little pieces of popcorn fell out, but you can just pick those out and put them with the rest of the popcorn , or just pop them in your mouth.
A few Fridays ago we had a family movie night watching the newly released movie, The Boxtrolls. We didn’t get a chance to see it in theaters, so I couldn’t wait to pick the movie up from Walmart. While I was there I grabbed the 10 count Pop Secret Homestyle Popcorn. It is a new favorite of ours. Grab yours while supplies lasts.
We try to have a family movie night every Friday or Saturday night. I really feel it is important to take time out of our busy lives and spend quality time together. There is just something amazing about snuggling up on the couch, watching a movie, and snacking the night away. It brings up important conversations with Dustyn later. We usually end up talking about how the characters behaved in the movie. After watching The Boxtrolls we talked about how important it is to be kind to others even if they are different.
Check out The Boxtrolls on Facebook. They are always sharing fun new content and printables. We also had fun checking out The Boxtrolls website and building our own boxtrolls.
