Kid-Friendly Foods

If you are looking for kid-friendly foods that your kids will actually enjoy eating, and you feel good about feeding it to them keep reading. I am sharing a few of our new favorites.

Gardein Meatless Meatballs

Kid-Friendly Foods

Spaghetti and meatballs are one of the easiest weeknight dinners. Gardein Classic Meatless Meatballs make it even easier, all you have to do is add them to a bowl, cover in sauce and microwave for 8 minutes, or put them on the stove in the sauce to heat them up.  They are always certified vegan, non-GMO, dairy-free and kosher. Even though they are meatless they pack a punch with 14g of protein. You can serve them over your favorite noodles, and top with some parmesan cheese.

Squeezable Organic Coconut Manna from Nutiva

Nutiva Squeezable Organic Coconut Manna is a delectable coconut butter spread made from organic puree coconuts and is available in three great flavors, coconut, chocolate, and almond. You can squeeze it onto oatmeal or fruit, spread it on toast, or add it to smoothies. Plus, it only has one gram of sugar per serving, with no dairy or gluten. Which means Annie can have this!  This is great to serve on toast or with fruit, making a super simple breakfast.

Special Offer!

Right now you can get 25% off if you want to give Nutiva Squeezable Organic Coconut Manna a try.  Use code SQUEEZE25! for 25% off all Organic Coconut Manna Flavors.

Offer valid 8/13/19 – 11/13/19 and cannot be combined with other offers. Limit one use per customer.

Probiotic Apple Sauce Pouches and Probiotic Apple Drinking Vinegar from North Coast Organic

I was so excited to try the probiotic apple sauce pouches from North Coast Organic with Annie. She loves apple sauce pouches and this is a great way to get her probiotics in at the same time. I am so forgetful about remembering her probiotics every day, so this is perfect. The pouches are easy to hold and one of my favorite kid-friendly foods. Probiotics help to balance the friendly bacteria in your gut, help and treat digestive issues. Lately, she was having a few tummy issues and this seemed to help. Plus, she loved it!

Special Offer!

Until December 31, 2019, save $1 off any North Coast Organic product

New Butter Parmesan Sauce from RAGÚ®

I made super simple shrimp pasta with the New Butter Parmesan Sauce from RAGÚ®. The sauce is made with Aged Parmesan Cheese and Real Butter. To make my recipe, first, cook the shrimp in butter and garlic salt in one pan. Then in a pot, cook the noodles (I used pasta shells). Once the pasta is cooked, drain it. Finally, combine the pasta, shrimp, and sauce in the pot;  heat thoroughly. You can also try it with this Real Deal 3-Minutes Mac Recipe! Perfect for a picky eater in your family.

Pantry Classic Ranch and Ketchup from Tessemae’s

Kid-Friendly Foods

I was so excited to try Tessemae’s Pantry Classic Ranch and Tessemae’s Ketchup. They are both USDA Certified Organic, Whole30 Approved, Keto Approved, Dairy Free, Gluten Free, Non-GMO, and with No Sugar Added. The ranch had a classic taste and is the perfect dipping sauce for carrots, pizza, and wings. Ranch is a dinnertime staple around here and I feel good about serving it. The ketchup is made with premium, organic tomato paste and is naturally sweetened with organic dates and white balsamic vinegar. I loved how thick and rich this ketcup was. Both of these are great for the kids to dip their chicken nuggets.

One of my bffs and I joke that we eat like we're kids because we often want plain mac n cheese or plain spaghetti. Loved seeing your picks for kid friendly foods. I agree!

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.

Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.

Not sure what made the most difference but the leaf opened and now a new one is already starting. Hoping it won’t take as long this time.
