Family Board Game | Q’s Race To The Top

Filed Under: Family, Parenting Tagged With: pollinate media, sponsored

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and EQtainment, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia  #Qsracetothetop http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

When we received this family board game in the mail Dustyn started jumping up and down. You see he loves board games, and he really loves playing new games. The graphics are so colorful and adorable. The tree-house that Q built is genius for the game. Dustyn and Carsyn really loved checking out all the different rooms.

Watch this video below to learn about the Q’s Race To The Top. You will also hear how it could help your kids in their everyday life.

Family Board Game | Q’s Race To The Top

The game was made by EQtainment. They help kids practice emotional intelligence through fun and affordable games, storybooks, and videos.  EQ is kind of like IQ, but instead of academics it is all about self control, empathy, motivation and social skills. Studies have shown that having a high emotional quotient boosts career success, relationship satisfaction, leadership skills, health, humor, and happiness.

The boys really enjoyed reading and looking at the book. It was an adorable story about Q, a genius monkey, that doesn’t understand the social behaviors of his human family.

While playing this great family board game we snacked on chips and popcorn. Our favorite snacks. I loved hearing Dustyn answering questions. Sometimes he was really silly and sometimes he was very serious. He also really enjoyed being able to move around while playing a board game. Surprisingly he actually had a lot of the answers correct, though in real life he doesn’t always carry things out the right way. I really think playing this game often will help him learn invaluable skills on how to treat others.

As a mom of two young boys I loved that it opened up conversation on correct social behaviors.

This is a good looking game! I love how board games are becoming more interactive and educational, versus just meaningless ways to pass the time. I'll have to check this out!
