Dustyn LOVES sea creatures, so he has been begging for an update to his bathroom. We have had the monsters in there since I he was born seven years ago. I have the seven year itch and ready for a change too. I decided an under the sea bathroom would be perfect to replace the monsters with and I wouldn’t make it too kiddish so that it could grow with them.
Here is the mood board of under the sea bathroom ideas for the boys.
I had a great morning working with Carpet One picking out the tiles that would work perfectly for the boys bathroom. I wanted to go with teals and gray and I think they nailed it.
She picked the Delta Haze as the main tile. Then Sea Spec, Suede Gray, and Marble to make a mosaic accent tile.
The boards with the tiles were pretty neat and I loved how much information you could find about the tiles right on the board. That wood looking tile on the right is my absolute FAVORITE. It is so gorgeous. If their bathroom was bigger I would pick that one for sure!
I loved checking out all the flooring they offered, and the store itself was gorgeous! I probably could have spent the entire day there. Carpet One is not like any other flooring store. They are locally owned business, have a large variety of selection and exclusive brands, and offer free in-home or in-office measurements. Carpet One also has the beautiful guarantee: If you’re not 100% satisfied with your new floor, they will replace it for free. Awesome right?
She told me about a new service that Carpet One offers during installation. Which is suppose to be healthier for your family and it is included with every installation.
