Staying Hydrated While Pregnant

As many of you know I am pregnant with baby boy #3. We are so excited to welcome this new baby into our home early November. This is my first pregnancy over the Summer. I feel like this means I need to be extra careful and drink plenty of water. I wanted to share some ways that I am staying hydrated while pregnant this Summer.

Staying Hydrated While Pregnant

Drink 64oz. of Water Daily

Staying Hydrated While Pregnant

You want to drink at least 64oz. of water daily. When you are on the go this may become more difficult. If you are anything like me you are picky about water. I can’t just drink any water. Therefore, using a Brita Water Bottle will help you stay hydrated even on the go.

Eat Plenty of Fruits & Vegetables

Staying Hydrated While Pregnant

A good thing about being pregnant in the Summer is a lot of fresh fruits and veggies! Yumm! Fruits like watermelon (my fave!), apples, oranges, and grapes have a ton of water. Vegetables high in water include cucumbers (my fave!), tomatoes, green peppers, and romaine lettuce. Both great options to add more water to your diet.

Bringing water and a snack with me while out and about helps me make healthier decisions. I started out rather big this pregnancy, therefore I want to gain less weight this time around. It is really important I drink water and eat out less. This Brita Water Bottle helps me with my goals.

I found this in the hardware section of my local Walmart. It is with the other Brita products like the water pitchers, and faucet filters.

I really like that water bottle! I need one for after surgery, esp since it doesn't have a straw. (Or, it doesn't have an external one anyway. Great tips on keeping hydrated whether you're pregnant or not! I love your little belly pic. <3

Bottles with a filter are awesome. Our teen has to drink two extra quarts of water a day because she has POTS. We bought a Brita pitcher and she carries it around all day.

I was awful about drinking enough water. I love how cute this bottle is and that it has the filter right in it!

Yes! I struggle with this, too! I might just have to check out one of these bottles.

It was a nice secluded spot that we might just make our new spot. The kids had a blast, I am glad it stays shallow here plus we didn’t have to worry about waves.

The eyebrow dye last for about 4-6 weeks. It gradually lightens up over time. I included the photo of Annie after she did her “makeup”. This project 365 isn’t looking like I thought it would. I was hoping to use my DSLR more but end up just using my phone and using random photos I take during the day. Nothing specific or set up pretty, but it works. I’m still capturing memories.

Not sure what’s been going on lately but the last few days I have gotten headaches in the afternoon.
