Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Filed Under: Photography Tagged With: scavenger hunt sunday

First of all I want to say Happy Veteran’s Day to our Veterans. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service and sacrifice.

Also happy 2 1/2 birthday to Carsyn. Can not even believe he will be 3 in six months! So crazy!

This week is another week from my mini Christmas shoots. You can see some from last week here. I also shared a bunch on my facebook page. Which I am very close to 600 followers. Eeekkk! Now onto the items this week.

Nature

Nothing like jumping on a bed out in nature. His shirt matches the theme pretty good too.

 Vintage or Retro

This bed is vintage. That counts right?

Whimsical

I think this photo is so whimsical with this chair, her pearl necklace and tutu. So adorable!! I love taking her photos every month.

Cooking

I cooked the cookies she is sneaking!

Week’s Best

This was my favorite capture this week. I caught him right in motion. It looks like he is levitating! So awesome. I got a great picture of the boys together but that will have to wait because I think it is going to be our Christmas card photo!

That is all I have for you. Sorry I have not had time to visit you all lately. Hopefully after this busy Christmas season I can start blog visiting again. I miss being able to see what you all are up to! Hope you have a great Sunday and don’t forget to thank a Veteran.

Linking up with Scavenger Hunt Sunday, Little Bits of Happiness, A Rural Journal, Simple Things, Sunday Snapshot, Macro Monday, and then she snapped

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.

Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.
