This is hubby’s new toy. He has been flying it in our home a lot.

We finally put up our Christmas tree on Friday. This was a happy accident. I was doing different settings with the bokeh and my hand got shaky, but made little hearts. I thought it was neat looking.

Time

a clock we have in our home. I used Kim Klassen’s free texture that she shared with us and I added the “Time Stands Still” because this clock doesn’t actually work.

Everyday?
023blog
I will be spending everyday learning how to use my new camera. Yippee!! It is here! This was at 1600 ISO way less noise then my old camera. I have a lot to learn but love it so far!

I can’t believe I actually had a week without a picture of the boys. Crazy.  Hope everyone has a good week. I have a busy day today, but I will try and visit everyone when I get back.

I am loving your pictures, especially the before and afters of the little girl in the chair. I am just a mom and I basically, well, take the worst photographs EVER! I really didn't understand what tha "coffee shop" and pioneer woman stuff was. Photo editing? I have tried working with those free photo editing things but cant seem to get it going. Any tips? Is all that stuff you use(the words on your photos/the editing from Photoshop? Sorry so many questions. Love your husbands toy.

Lovely photos Sarah and it's great news that you finally got your camera. My youngest teen has a toy like that - it spent 11 months in the box and he is only starting to learn how to fly it now but our rooms are not big enough with him damaging the furniture. I was sure you had put something over your lens to get that bokeh effect.

Super D Duper! I love the new look (so festive!), and of course, the fabulous pictures! Great job! By the way, did I miss something? Oops. You got a new Nikon, but which one did you get? How is it holding up for ya? There's nothing better than getting new toys! I'm going to try to purchase the Canon 7D in a couple/few months (if I don't chicken out first). Wish me luck!

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

Freaking freezing soccer nights. 🥶🥶🥶 It Freaking freezing soccer nights. 🥶🥶🥶

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.
