Scavenger Hunt Sunday {02/27/2011}

Filed Under: Family, Photography Tagged With: scavenger hunt sunday

I have another favor to ask. Dudley’s love letter to Kitty Paw was picked as a top ten. Would you mind heading over there and voting for us? Just click the button above. We are #2. Thank you!

Reminder: I am leaving for Raleigh today, so it may take me a couple days to catch up and visit you back. Thanks for stopping by and for being patient.

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Capture the Sky

Gorgeous weather. I love seeing bright, fluffy clouds.

Everyday

We go outside and swing every day that it is nice out. Here is Carsyn swinging with Henry.

The Paper Mama

Someone asked me how I do my eyes. Basically all I do is use Pioneer Woman’s Sharpen This action at 50% and brush over the eyes. Other then that nothing. I do not change the color or lighten the eyes or anything. I think a good clean edit with the sharpen is a way to bring out the eyes with out them looking too fake.

Furry

My dog Dixie. So sweet and furry.

MellowYellowMondayBadge

Life

New buds, and a bug.

Blurred

The sand we got delivered the other day. I love how it is blurred up front and in the back. Dustyn has been enjoying playing in it.

MM3

Not my best work this week, but it has been a crazy week.

Don’t forget to come back tomorrow for Dustyn’s Birthday Bash Giveaways.

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.

Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.
