Quarterly Top 5 Photos | Quarter 1 of 2012

Filed Under: Photography Tagged With: quarterly top 5

The time is here to share your Top 5 Photos (you’ve taken of your children or pets) from 2012 1st Quarter. Make sure you check out the posts from Ashley of Ramblings and Photos and  Amber of Click.Pray. Love.

Here are my favorite photos.

I just love this photo of Dustyn with the bubble wand.

I love how much Carsyn loves swinging. His smile is amazing!

Love seeing my boys together. They are so sweet.

Dustyn wearing his favorite shirt, hat and playing Angry Birds. Ha.

Love this silhouette of Carsyn and Kenny. Adorable!

Now it is your turn, link up your Top 5 photos you’ve taken of your children or pets.

Here are a few things you should know:

  • Linky begins Wednesday, March 28th and ends Tuesday, April 3rd
  • Go through the photos  from January, February, and March 2012
  • Choose 5 and post them on your blog or Flickr account beginning March 28th
  • PLEASE only use photos that include your CHILDREN and/or PETS
  • Accompany each photo with a short explanation of why you chose it
  • Link up here at Naptime Momtog, Click.Pray.Love., or Ramblings and Photos
  • Be sure to include the Quarterly Top 5 banner or button in your post and you will be entered to win one of these prizes

A Shutter Buddy of your choice ($23 value)

I do not own one of these but I love the Owl.  They would work really well with children or pets, to get their attention. Be sure to click over and check out all of Leora’s products.

A Camera Strap from Chic Homeschool Mama ($25 value)

Gina, like the rest of us, loves photography and does a wonderful job making the rest of us shoot in style.  I have one of her straps and I love it! It is so comfy. You can see my review on it here. Be sure to check out her camera straps and lens bags. She is also offering a coupon code to all of our readers it is: top5Q1 for 15% off your order!

A Spot in Natural Light-Creative Basics For Any Camera from Bella Pop ($60 value)

The next class begins Thursday, April 5th, the day after the winners are chosen.  You can begin that class immediately or Brandy said you could join when it is offered in May or June.  Be sure to check out Bella Pop.  Brandy offers a variety of classes, tutorials, fun photos, recipes, etc.

Here is what BellaPop.com says about the class, “With any camera… point & shoot, cell phone, DSLR… natural light can make a world of difference. This class is for beginner shooters with little or no photography experience who would like to understand the basics of natural light and how it can make or break a photograph. In just 2 weeks you’ll learn how to use natural light photography tips to take better pictures with any point and shoot camera.”

Remember THIS IS NOT A CONTEST.  Anyone can enter and you do not have to have the best photo to be considered for the giveaway.  It is a random giveaway, as we want to encourage people to share their memories.  One person will be chosen for each prize.

One last thing, please add our button to your side bar to help spread the word we would appreciate it. Thank you!

I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.

Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.
