is not a long race. It is many short races one after another. – W. Elliot

Last night we heard a crop duster so we went out to watch it. It actually didn’t rain much but a few sprinkles more photos to come soon. YAY! Anyways the boys loved watching him go back and forth. I thought this quote was perfect for a crop dusters job. They have lots of short races to cover a whole field.  It is also true in Carsyn’s battle. He has a lot of short races to accomplish and he will persevere.

Speaking of Carsyn, his thyroid check and bone growth came back normal. The endocrinologist here can not see him till December. I have an earlier appointment at a children’s hospital three hours away. I am just trying to decide whether I should just wait till December or make the trek to the further hospital.  Since his test were normal I am not sure what the endo doctor could do for us. Please pray for me as I make a decision. It is all so stressful for me.  But his gorgeous eyes and smile sure do make me happy. They also tell me that everything will be alright and that he is worth it.

What a wonderful collage and quote! Your edit on your cat is lovely! I am praying for you. Making choices for our children and hoping we are doing the best for them is stressful; parenting is the hardest job; but you are doing excellently (if the opinion of a complete stranger who only knows you in blogland matters.) Sometimes both choices are fine, but praying for your decision and that you feel peace in it.

Amazing shots Sarah. Glad to hear the good news about Carsyn. The endo will do more testing and that will determine many things. Did I tell you I had 2 sons with growth hormone deficiency? They both got injections until they were 16. I still have my 25 year old on it, but his is from his brain tumor. Well...anyhow, great shots of your boys and your cat too. Hope you have a blessed day?

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.
