As you all know I am well on my way to changing my lifestyle and losing a bunch of weight. If you have missed that check out my weight loss posts. Well, today I am going to share how you can start making healthy choices and begin a journey of your own while earning Walgreens Balance Rewards. What are Balance Rewards? For every 5,000 points you earn $5 to spend at Walgreens. Making Healthy Choices | #BalanceRewards #CollectiveBias #shop
You are able to earn Balance Rewards just by making healthy choices throughout the day. You can track your steps, weight, blood pressure, blood glucose each day. Every time you track one of those items you earn Balance Rewards. You can also track your sleep, and pulse oxygen but those do not earn you Balance Rewards. There are even some devices that you can connect straight to your account.

5 tips to jump-start your lifestyle change

1. Drink More Water!

I know this sounds so simple, but most of us are walking around dehydrated. You need to be drinking half of what you weigh in ounces. Example – If you weigh 200 lbs. you need to be drinking 100 oz. of water daily.

2. Keep A Food Journal

Write down everything you consume in a journal. Even the stuff you are ashamed of. This will really help you see how much junk and crap you are eating.

3. Track Your Steps

If you don’t do a lot of working out at least get a pedometer and try to walk 10,000 steps a day. Doing this will help keep you accountable so you don’t just sit around all day.

4. Download Walgreens App

The Walgreens app will help you reach your health goals while earning Balance Reward Points. For me this is a win/win! I love having my weight and steps all in one app.

5. Set Health Goals

I am a firm believer that if you set small health goals with rewards it will help you stay motivated. When you make your first goal using Walgreens healthy choices program you receive 250 points!! To see all of my goals and rewards check out my posts. I have to say I am really excited about reaching some of those goals!

Are you ready to get started and achieve your health goals? Whether that be to lose weight or just help with weight management.

All these items were found at my Walgreens. I even earned balance rewards just by purchasing them. Making Healthy Choices | #BalanceRewards #CollectiveBias #shop

I've been a Balance Rewards member for a couple of years, and I honestly had no idea I could earn rewards just by making healthy decisions! How cool is that?!?

I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.

Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.

Not sure what made the most difference but the leaf opened and now a new one is already starting. Hoping it won’t take as long this time.
