When I was growing up I would always enjoy a nice warm cup of hot tea with my mom during the winter months. I loved that it warmed me up from the inside out. I was inspired to make a new hot tea to enjoy with my boys. When I first made this I had a cold, and the hot spiced tea helped to ease my sore throat. Plus, it tasted amazing!A blend of tea, cinnamon, clove and orange makes this perfect hot spiced sweet tea. Fresh brewed Milo’s Tea features natural ingredients, with no preservatives or added acids. It is the perfect tea to enjoy in all my recipes this holiday season. Milo’s Tea Company is a family owned, certified woman owned business located in Bessemer, AL. They use high quality, fresh, natural ingredients, and never sacrifice taste.

A blend of tea, cinnamon, clove and orange makes this perfect hot spiced sweet tea.

Hot Spiced Sweet Tea

A blend of tea, cinnamon, clove and orange makes this perfect hot spiced sweet tea.

Servings 8 people

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Milo's Tea
  • 1 cup Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp whole cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Heat the tea, orange juice, whole cloves, and cinnamon stick in a saucepan over medium heat for 10 minutes.

  2. Remove from heat and strain the tea into a pitcher. Serve Hot.

Milo’s Tea is available sweetened with pure cane sugar, no calorie and unsweet options, as well as lemonade, and a tea and lemonade mix. Kenny is watching his carb intake so he really enjoys the no calorie sweet tea or unsweet tea.

I found Milo’s at my local Walmart in the refrigerated juice and dairy section but they are available at lots of retailers. Find a store near you by using the store locator.

Mmmmm, I need to find this sweet tea! Sweet tea isn't a thing in Canada, so everytime I make a trip to the states I bring some back, haha.

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.

Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.
