Carsyn is still a huge fan of Curious George 2 : Follow That Monkey that is available to watch on Netflix. He could watch it all day long and still enjoy watching it. There are other Curious George movies and shows, but he doesn’t like any of them as much as this movie. The two main characters are Curious George (of course) and Kayla (a baby elephant). I wanted to combine two of the animals favorite foods to make a snack for Carsyn to enjoy. Monkeys love bananas and elephants love peanuts, so I decided to make a grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich.
Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich

Save RecipeIngredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 1/2 banana
- peanut butter
- butter
Instructions
- Add butter to the outside of the bread slice and peanut butter to the inside.
- Place on griddle.
- Add banana slices.
- Top with another piece of bread with peanut butter inside and butter on the outside.
