Flowers, Dirt and Worms

Dustyn’s Nana had a birthday last Saturday. When I asked him what he wanted to get her he said, “Flowers!”. So he picked out hydrangeas for her. So sweet. They found some worms when planting them. Dustyn picked them up right away. I was surprised.

If you want to download this template or any of the other ones click here.

My sweet Carsyn will be 2 years old in 10 days!! Very crazy!! By the way I will be having a Birthday Bash for him like I did with Dustyn and him last year. So look for a bunch of awesome Etsy shops coming up after May 21st!

Loving the dirt and worms. This is my future too. Xander is still creeped out by them at this point. I remember playing with worms as a kid all the time. I was fascinated with the fact that they grow back if you cut them in half. Disturbing now that I think about it.

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.
