Edits, Camping and Standers

Filed Under: Family, Photography, Special Needs Tagged With: cerebral palsy, Holoprosencephaly

Here is my edit of Jen from Mama Schell Says photo. I wanted to make it look like an old timey painting. What do you all think?

I did a lot to this photo. I first opened it up in Camera Raw and made slight adjusment {though it looked good SOOC} Then I ran some of my favorite Pioneer Woman actions. I then added Kim Klassen’s Granny’s Cupboard texture. I then used Pixel Blender’s Oil Paint effect.

Here there are beside together so you can compare.

My Before & After Edit
This is one from our camping trip. Dustyn is so adorable. Love his sweet smile.

{Rollover image to see the before}

Here is Carsyn in his new {loaned} stander. He LOVES it. He looks so big and tall in it. We are still waiting to hear from insurance whether they will pay for any of his equipment.
Dustyn giving Carsyn a kiss.
Obviously those were taken with my new iPhone. Yippee. I really do love it and love all the cool photo apps. I will have to do a post on them all one day.

One last one for Texture Thursday. This was taken while camping also.

Still on my to-do list: a gallery wall and living wall, but I'm a bit nervous since I'm not exactly good at that. One day, though... I also dream of getting a projector to display scenes on the big white wall.

I'm going to miss my Halloween decorations when they come down - time to start scouring thrift stores for Christmas decor, I suppose! 🎄

It will be a few more months/weeks before it’s complete but I’m proud of how far it’s come.

What I have left to do still: Get the top for my desk and seal it. Organize my craft stuff and put it on the shelves under my desk. Figure out my gallery wall above my desk. Order my @wallygrowplanters for my living wall. And of course buy more books and plants. 😆
