Have you heard of the Bear Naked brand? They make granola and ready to eat cereal. Recently I learned about their new adventure, custom made granola!
I had so much fun going through 50+ chef-inspired ingredients, which are 100% Non-GMO Project Verified! The possibilities and combinations are endless! They had jalapeños, coffee brittle, salted edamame, pale ale flavor and more! I got input from the boys on what they thought would sound good. When you pick out your ingredients you can check your “flavor synergy” powered by IBM Watson to help you pick the best combination possible. Dustyn really enjoyed trying each of the different combinations. He has already asked that I send some in his lunch box to school.
Custom Made Granola
I made a Mocha Coffee Blend with their Cacao + Cashew Butter Granola. I added Dark Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans, Freeze-Dried Strawberries, and Nonpareil Almonds.
I also made a Honey & Apple Blend with their Honey Granola. I added Cashews, Cinnamon, and Freeze-Dried Cinnamon Apples.
Lastly I made a PB Chocolate Blend with their Chocolate Granola. I added Peanuts, Pretzel Shorties, and Sweet Bacon Sprinkles.
Out of these three my favorite is the PB Chocolate Blend. I definitely love all things peanut butter and chocolate. Plus the sweet bacon sprinkles are amazing!!
You can customize the bear on the front, you can either pick one of the ones already made, or upload your own photo and bearify yourself. There is also a place on the back where you can add custom text. Here is one where I bearified Prestyn, pretty cute if I do say so myself.
