Cowboy Baked Beans Recipe | #ad #CollectiveBias #SummerYum

A friend of ours made cowboy baked beans at a cookout last Summer and I knew I needed to make them this year! This recipe is super easy to make, plus it frees you up to work on other food for your cookout. Cowboy baked beans are a new twist on normal baked beans and go great with fried chicken.

Our Summer’s are filled with pool time, cookouts, fireworks, more. Our family is a huge fan of fried chicken, but who wants to stand over a hot fryer all day in the middle of Summer? I know I don’t. Being that fried chicken is usually the main dish of our cookouts I needed a simple solution.

Walmart came to the rescue! They have a huge variety of fried chicken in their deli section and in the mobile units near checkout. They offer 8pc grab-n-go, single pieces, buckets, and bulk purchases. If you are going to buy a bulk purchase you will want to call in your order ahead of time.

For our little family cookout the other day I served the fried chicken, cowboy baked beans and yellow watermelon.

Have you heard of a yellow watermelon? This was a first, and by accident but it is really tasty!

Be sure to check out your local Walmart deli for delicious fresh fried chicken. I’d love to hear what you’d use it for this summer!

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.

Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.
