Well Dustyn and I were in a car accident today. We had just eaten lunch with Kenny and were leaving the hospital. Our light was green and had been green long enough for 3 cars to go through the light and I was right behind them. So the lady that hit me, her light had been red (It wasn’t like it had just turned red). She admitted when she got out that she was looking at her daughter in the back seat and not at the road. As soon as I saw she wasn’t stopping I hit the gas. So it hit the door behind me and not my door. Thank the Lord! Dustyn was on the other side. So he wasn’t hurt, but he was very, very upset.
So I just want to put the word out if you have kids in your back seat please don’t turn to look at them. Pay attention to the road. If you need to do something with your kids pull to the side of the road. This ruined my (new to me) van, and my whole day. I am very sore. I had the baby’s heartbeat checked, but they said there is still a risk that the placenta could be torn, so if I have any cramping or anything I need to go to the emergency room. Please keep Dustyn, Baby #2 and me in your prayers that everything is okay and that everything will work out. Thanks so much!
