If you haven’t heard yet, Big Hero 6 was just released on Blu-Ray + DVD. Dustyn and I had a mommy/son date night when it was in the theater. We absolutely LOVED it. We both laughed and cried so hard. When we left, Dustyn said, “We have to get it when it comes out!” I agreed. We were counting down the days and Tuesday I headed to Target right away to grab our copy.

I wanted to make our movie night extra special, so I made these Baymax Cookie Pops for us to enjoy. I used the white chocolate to cover the cookie pops and black writing icing to make Baymax’s face.

Baymax Cookie Pops

Author By Sarah Halstead

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 18 chocolate sandwich cookies finely crushed (about 3 cups)
  • 4 oz white chocolate melted

Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese and cookie crumbs until blended.
  2. Shape into 9 (2-inch) balls. Freeze 10 min.
  3. Dip the end of your straw into the white chocolate. Add your cookie ball.
  4. Set aside to harden for a few minutes.
  5. Dip balls in melted chocolate; place sitting up right.
  6. Take black writing icing and draw on Baymax's face.
  7. I did two large dots then took a toothpick and spread it between the eyes
  8. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
  9. Enjoy at your Big Hero 6 Movie Night!

I served these cookie pops along with salty popcorn. I love mixing sweet and salty flavors. We had a fun family movie night. I was able to make these the day before our movie night. I like being able to serve easy snacks for my family so I can actually sit down and enjoy the movie.

Dustyn really enjoyed these. Check out my post earlier for an outtake of Dustyn with his Baymax cookie pop. He sure is a silly boy!

My kids saw Big Hero 6 in the theaters with daddy and loved it. I just bought it today at Target for our upcoming Spring Break road trip. I like the idea of making movie theme food to go with the movie. We did this a couple of times with our church. We prepared a meal that was inline withe the movie we were showing. Stopping by from All Things Thursday.

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.
