22 Months {WW #31}

Filed Under: Family, Photography Tagged With: Wordless Wednesday

I know I say this every month but I seriously can not believe how close he is getting to 2 years old. I guess maybe it is extra hard for me since he still acts and looks like a 6-9 month old? Not sure. I am excited to start planning his 2nd Birthday Party.

Stats:

*Weight | 24lbs

*Height | 30 inches

*Wearing some 18 month clothes

*Size 3 diapers almost ready to move to size 4

*One nap in the afternoon, about 3 hours.

What’s New:

*He is getting closer to army crawling. He still needs your hand to push off with his foot. But he is now bringing his legs up on his own and pulling his hands out after pushing forward.

*He LOVES using my iPhone.

*He loves being outside

*He has started just laughing at random people. It is pretty funny and cute.

*His favorite food right now is any kind of dessert. Pudding, cheesecake, cake, brownie, but NOT icecream.

*Is obsessed with the DVD player in the car. It is is off he will cry till we turn it on.

*He really is ready to move around. I hope when we see his rehab doctor the will get him set up for a gait trainer. Basically it is a walker for kids.

*His four front bottom tooth finally broke through. I thought he was always going to have three down there. He has already gotten his molars so it came at an odd time.

*I think he is working on his canine teeth now because he has not been too happy lately.

In general he is a happy boy. Unless he is tired or doesn’t get what he wants. That is pretty normal behavior for a 22 month old I would say. Which to me is a good thing.

6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adans 6 weeks ago I cut off the top of my Monstera Adansonii because it was very tall but not bushy. It was nerve wracking at first. I had 5 total cuttings that I put into water. 4 of the pieces had roots longer than 2 inches with some secondary roots. The last piece is still in water, it has some roots but not enough, so giving it a bit more time. Where I cut it is also making a new stem and I noticed further down it was trying to branch out in other places. Hopefully it takes off this Summer and becomes fuller looking.

It was soooo cold out there tonight even with the sun. The wind was whipping. It may have been in the 40s but the wind chill was in the low 30s. I think my face is wind burned. Annie did a great job playing tonight and was trying so hard to make a goal. The other team was short on players, so one of her teammates was goalie and did an awesome job stopping the ball. Annie tried a new strategy of holding the ball in between her feet until the other team gives up. 🤣 There is one clip of Prestyn (# 13). His games are harder to take video of cause his field is so big.

Today while eating lunch I told her it was close to coming out and we would need to pull it before bed. While eating chicken teriyaki she thought she swallowed it and spit out the chicken in her mouth. I dug through it and it wasn’t there. She started freaking out. Then looked on the chair and it was sitting right there. 🤣 A similar thing happened with Prestyn on one of his bottom teeth. My kids never want to pull them out until they fall out on their own. Ha.
