Instant Pot Elderberry Syrup

Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 2 cups dried elderberries
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp whole cloves
  • 2 tbsp dried ginger
  • 1 cup local honey

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients, except for the honey, to your instant pot. 

  2. Set to manual high pressure for 7 minutes. 

  3. Quick release the pressure and remove lid.

  4. Set your instant pot to sauté, and cook for 15 minutes. 

  5. Strain into a bowl using a metal mesh strainer. 

  6. Allow to cool for 15 minutes. 

  7. Stir in 1 cup of honey. 

  8. Pour into a refrigerator safe container, I like to use mason jars. 

  9. Take 1 tablespoon every morning to boost your immunity.
