You know what? I think I am still in shock that Prestyn is a year old. He is starting to become a more independent little boy and less of a baby. He is feeding himself, taking his first steps, and starting to play independently more often. I can’t believe I am going from he needs me for everything to not needing me so much. I know he will still need me for a lot of love, and comfort, but it is still sad knowing that he is now turning into a toddler.
One of my favorite things this past year was taking photos of him each month and seeing how much he grew throughout the year. It was a challenge to remember but I am so glad that I did. I think because my second son has special needs and doesn’t walk or talk I really soaked in each milestone that Prestyn met. For his first birthday, I made this video of memories from his first year and I am so in love. I can’t wait to show it to him as he grows up.
When he was younger he would spit up ALL the time. I just wish I would have known about WaterWipes back then. It would have helped so much, I remember many times grabbing a wipe and it was bone dry. Can’t really clean up much with that. I will continue buying these wipes long after he is potty trained. They are such a natural and wonderful way to clean up any type of mess.
I love this video from WaterWipes Moms about the first year. It is super sweet and so very true. Things go by quickly and they are definitely messy.
