I am super behind on posting these but really wanted to have all of my books up on my blog.
March Reading Wrap Up
The Perfect Child – Lucinda Berry
I will be the first to admit that I don’t read a ton of thrillers. Sometimes they just get to me too much. This was one of those books. Admittedly I was skimming some of the pages. Also, Christopher is seriously the worst. He made me so mad.
That Forever Girl – Meghan Quinn
I loved That Forever Girl. This was the second book in the Getting Lucky series and one of my favorites from her. I couldn’t stop reading it, was laughing and crying. If you love a good second chance romance between high school sweethearts read this one.
How to Love Your Neighbor – Sophie Sullivan
This is the second book in the Jansen brother’s series. I really enjoyed the first book but had a hard time getting into this one. The home renovation aspect was fun, but I didn’t really feel the chemistry between Grace and Noah.
Better Than the Movies – Better Than the Movies
This book was super cute! I cried quite a bit and loved all the movie references. This was enemies to lovers mixed with fake dating. Wes was absolutely adorable.
That Secret Crush – Meghan Quinn
I read this one so quick. This one was about Reid’s secret crush on his best friends’ twin sister, Eve. This one was great for encouraging you to never give up on your goal. Pretty adorable.
Wrong Place Wrong Time – Gillian McAllister
This book was sooo good. If you like time loops you would love this book. It is a mix between mystery and a ground hog day. The end was chef’s kiss
Camera Chemistry – Chelsea Curto
Camera Chemistry is a novella about a photo shoot on Valentine’s Day between two strangers that were both divorced doctors. This one was super quick and spicy book.
Little Deadly Secrets – Pamela Crane
If you enjoyed watching Big Little Lies and Desperate Housewives, you will love reading Little Deadly Secrets. This story was told from multiple POVs which kept me guessing throughout the book. I did not see that ending coming.
Mistletoe & Mr. Right – Sarah Morgenthaler
Mistletoe & Mr. Right is the second book in the Moose Springs series. It takes place around Christmas time. It was a cute book and had me laughing out loud during the squirrel taxidermy scene. It is a very sweet, closed door romance book. I do think it was a bit longer than needed and I found myself getting distracted easily while listening.
That Swoony Feeling – Meghan Quinn
I loved Brig in all the other Getting Lucky books, but he drove me batty in this book. For being a “romantic” he was so dense at what was right in front of him. I wanted to crawl in the book and smack him upside the head. Ruth was just the cutest, she put up with a lot. Also loved reading the Knightly family group text chats, they are always so funny.
P.S. I Love You – Cecelia Ahren
I really wanted to love this book. I enjoyed the movie when I saw it a few years ago. The book just felt like it dragged on and on. I loved the letters aspect of it, but there was a lot of pettiness between her and her friends. I had a hard time getting into it. Maybe if I read the book before seeing the movie it would have been different.
Enjoy the View – Sarah Morgenthaler
I think Enjoy the View was my favorite from the Moose Springs series. They were all good, but I liked the survival part of this book. River & Easton were so cute together.
The Fine Print – Lauren Asher
The Fine Print was super cute and a little spicy. Zarha was hilarious, sunshiny but sassy. This is the first book in the dreamland billionaire’s series. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
Love on the Brain – Ali Hazelwood
I would say my rating for Love on the Brain is more like 3.5 stars but rounding up to 4. I really enjoyed the storyline but it wasn’t my favorite book ever. I loved Bee’s humor and the banter between the characters.
Blue Hawaiian – Carla Luna
I listened to this one on Scribd and it was hard to listen to. The characters were super whining.
The Valentine Inn – Jennifer Peel
This was a super cute Valentine’s Day themed book. Was a super cute one bed trope at a bed and breakfast inn story.
Hope you enjoyed my March Reading Wrap Up. Going to post the rest of the months to catch up over the next couple days.
