The past week has been a little emotional roller coaster for our family. Our dog, Dudley, passed away last Monday. We had him for 10 years so he was a huge part of our family. Then Tuesday we welcomed our newest little guy, Prestyn, to the family. Unfortunately he had some breathing issues after birth so he has been in the NICU. Hopefully he will get to come home soon. I thought this would be a good time to grab Inside Out, and other supplies from Target to have a fun family movie night. I love that the Blu-Rays and DVDs purchased from Target include an extra 20 minutes of exclusive bonus content and deleted scenes. They are hilarious! Then after the movie we could play a little Inside Out emotions game. It would be a good time for Dustyn to deal with some of the emotions he is feeling.
Here are Dustyn’s pictures for each emotion. It was a really great conversation starter on how he was feeling. Disgust is the cafeteria because he doesn’t like the food they serve. Fear is tornadoes. Joy is the day Prestyn was born. Sadness was the day Dudley passed away. Anger was someone hitting him because they both wanted the same swing.
