Growing up I remember the Furby craze back in 1998. Everyone wanted one and they were so darn cute. When I heard that Hasbro was recreating an updated Furby Connect I was so excited. The new Furby Connect is linked to the Furby World app. You get to hatch eggs with turn into Furblings. Then you are able to feed, wash, watch movies with your Furblings. I honestly think the app brings so much to this. Dustyn loves playing on his tablet, so it combines virtual world with the real world. You can even translate Furbish with the app!
Dustyn’s favorite part is washing the Furblings. They make the cutest sounds and movements. My favorite part is the sleep mask! I love putting that on him to have him go to sleep at night. So much easier than just waiting for them to fall asleep. We usually put his sleep mask on at night and put him in his little box. It is so cute. The fur on the Furby Connect is super soft. I think I enjoy playing with Furby Connect just as much as my boys do. I love sharing stuff with my boys that I had as a kid, just a new and improved version.
Furby Connect has over 1,000 different phrases. He responds with sounds, motions and colors on his LCD screen eyes with over 100 animations. Below he had “eaten” something hot so he had a chili pepper and said hot, hot, hot. There are so many fun surprises with playing with the Furby Connect, it will keep your kids busy for hours. All three of my boys love him for different reasons. The new updated Furby Connect would make a great Christmas gift this season because it combines technology with an adorable plush toy.
