Educational Building Toy for Toddlers

Prestyn loves building, stacking, and creating. He is always coming up with a new way to use something. He is also a bit of a jokester so he loves doing things different to get a reaction from you. Building toys are a great way to expand his imagination and work on his fine motor skills. We were excited to get the new educational building toy LeapBuilders® Fruit Fun Elephant™ and start building, creating and learning.

Educational Building Toy for Toddlers

The new LeapBuilders® Fruit Fun Elephant™ is intended for ages 2+ years. Prestyn is three and it was perfect for him. It came with 21 animal-themed block pieces. He enjoyed changing the elephant around. You can also build a baby elephant, or a store. It came with the cutest little flamingo too. I love that it came with these easy to follow cards to help your child learn to build them. We haven’t made the store yet but it is next on our list to build.

Building Toy for Toddlers

The building blocks feature animals and fruits, they are easy-to-hold and double-sided. Prestyn enjoyed inserting all ten double-sided learning blocks into the interactive Smart Star™. When he did it responded with educational songs and encouraging phrases about numbers and colors. When you build on the Smart Star™ cube it also trigger sounds, if you press the question button you will hear learning phrases about animals. The music button plays five melodies and four different learning songs. Elephant Fun

Learning Tools

Pushing the buttons, building, and inserting the blocks into the cube allow children to work on their fine motor skills. It is simple enough to do, but helps build those skills so important for using scissors and handwriting. The Smart Star™ cube helps with learning colors, letters, numbers, and much more.  If you have other LeapBuilders® sets you can place learning blocks into the interactive cube to unlock more content responses. Annie would love to receive the Shapes & Music Castle™ for Christmas or her birthday!
