The boys have really enjoyed watching the new show Dragons: Race to the Edge. I decided I would make a simple craft with Dustyn that he would enjoy running around with. This took me all of 5 minutes to complete. You will need sturdy cardboard, duck tape, a paper plate, a cup, a pencil, and a box cutter.
DIY Shield Instructions
I took a paper plate and traced around the edge on a box. Then I cut it out with the box cuter. Next I took strips of duct tape and tore them in half, to save on the duct tape and wrapped around the edges of the shield. It really doesn’t need to be perfect. Then I took a cup and traced it with the pencil and cut it out with the box cutter and covered it with duct tape. Then taped it on the shield. Next I cut out about a 2 inch by 8 inch strip of cardboard and taped it on the back of the shield.
Really quick and easy to do. Like I said it isn’t perfect but Dustyn loved it.
