Friday Fun

This is my favorite photo of the week. Love the sunflare and bokeh. Used my favorite Lightroom Presets right now.

Blogging from Bolivia     the hollie rogue

This is the first week of Shades of Autumn. I am so excited. This week’s theme is…

A spider, leaves, bokeh, leaves and sky, our new grass. I am obsessed with letters thanks to one of the co-hosts Alicia she wrote about that here.

To put photos in words- Create a new blank file. Then pick a thick font, I was using Impact, but this time I used My Own Topher. After you pick the font write the letters individually so that they are in different layers. Line them up. I use the ruler for that. Then what you will do is prepare the photo you want to add by editing  it and resizing. Then drag your photo over top of the letter you want it to be in. Then you right click the photos  in the layers panel and choose to create clipping mask. That is how it is worded in Photoshop. In Elements you can go to Layer, Create Clipping Mask or CTRL+G. Hope that was helpful and not too confusing. If you have questions let me know.
