If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go (with and without kids)?
With Kids: I want to take the boys to the west coast. Especially the Northwest & Alaska. Without Kids: I really want to go to Paris, Rome, and other cities across the big pond. I would love for it to just be Kenny and I because I really would want to take my time and enjoy everything. I would also love to take photos while there which would be very hard with kids in tow.
If you could pick your top three favorite posts you’ve written which would you pick and why?
Capture Silly Faces | I love that I took photos of all of Dustyn’s Silly Faces. I will be so happy to have these as he gets older.
DIY Cloud Costume | I actually felt crafty when I made the costume and wrote the post. Plus I had a really cute model.
Memories, Dreams & Reflections | This is a yearly post for me. I love looking back through the year.
Asking as a sister of a disabled adult: do you feel that you need to act as an advocate or educator for cerebral palsy/hpe?
Yes I do! Especially for HPE since not a lot of people have heard of Holoprosencephaly. I really need to write more about Carsyn’s condition here. I wrote some over at Our Sonshines, but I have fallen behind.

Did you ever doubt yourself as a photographer?
Oh yes! I still do. I will see other photographer’s work and feel like I am not good enough. When I feel like I am in a funk I challenge myself to try something new. Learning a new technique, or using a lens I haven’t used in a while, or just going on a nature walk.
Do you have any siblings?
I do. Her name is Beth and she is 4 1/2 years older then I am.
What is your favorite thing to do when you have “me time?”
I love to read books and crochet.
When are you coming to Washington State for a visit?
Ahhh! Something on my bucket list. I have never been to the west coast. I hope to visit there very soon to see my bestie, Kristen, and her mom.
